Social & Humanitarian Projects
- Solace to the families affected in the Kumbakkonam Fire Tragedy.
- Aid to women in the districts to establish their livelihood.
- Aid to children in the districts. Children or 'Little People' as fondly referred by the Founder – Chairperson and Creative Director Latha Rajinikanth to have always been at the center of The Ashram's activities. Through Dayaa Latha Rajinikanth extends the Ashram family throughout the 30 districts of Tamil Nadu, by supporting children in the following ways:
- Providing medical / educational aid
- Supporting children orphaned by losing parents in accidents /suicides or deserted by them
- Assisting children who are physically challenged or differently abled.
- Aid to elders in the society.
Our First Project - Thirumudivakkam
- A model IAFI center to be launched at Thirumudivakkam.
- Thirumudivakkam is off the GST road, one of the arterial roads of Chennai with close proximity to the Airport, the railway stations, the metro stations, excellent road transport services.
- A developing area with large population and well established commercial and residential hub.
- This center is going to be a role model for our I Am For India project.
- The project is on a 7 acre land parcel.
- The project will have several zones to cater to the different needs for a well integrated wholesome community living.
