In line with our ancient Indian heritage of worshiping nature and taking care of our environment, Dayaa Foundation is working towards spreading awareness in the 32 districts of Tamil Nadu, about the importance of preserving and taking care of our environment, thus living in close harmony with nature. We work on these programs in association with Exnora International.

Tree Plantation Drive

I Am For India's tree campaign is an ambitious nationwide project seeking to leave a strong green mark on the country. With the help and support of the people of this country, we seek to do a tree plantation drive on a scale that has never been seen before.

Believing that 'Unity is Strength', we aim to join hands with all similar initiatives and leading institutions with alike ambitions across the region, and plant trees in each of their own areas and allocated lands; all while doing our own tree planting in all of our open spaces. We will also join hands with similar groups situated in the districts of our state, in all the rural regions and together do a mass plantation that leaves a significant green streak across our lands. Finally, and most importantly, we seek to join hands with each and every one of you, and make sure each of us does a plantation of our own in our own gardens, backyard and our communities.

Ultimately, we seek to bring together a billion citizens and give our nation a million trees, making India a greener country. It is not just the numbers that are important to us; we will also make sure the planted trees are given ample care and protection to grow in masses. We will not stop at saplings; for we aim to grow forests. To launch the movement, we have started a mission on our Facebook page where for every 10 likes that our page gets, we promise to plant one tree. To achieve our lofty goals, we need every citizen who wants to make a positive difference to help us spread the word and unite the people under a common goal; a mission, and a passion – I Am For India.
